Slidebank Versions are a useful way of recovering a presentation if something went wrong during an update. This could be because there was an error during upload or you made a mistake with your update. It also has the effect of Slidebank attempting to recover dependent virtual presentations to where they were in a previous version. However, while generally successful, this cannot be guaranteed. So please use with caution, and be prepared to rebuild virtual presentations that lose their connection with the master presentation.
To rollback a version, just use the following steps...
Navigate to your presentation in Slidebank.
Click the presentation version icon (the clock symbol with + number under it).
This will display the version list for the presentation in a popup window.
To preview a version without making it the active one, just click its name in the list.
When ready, rollback to a version by clicking the eye icon next to it.
This will make that version active and update any dependent virtual presentations - please give it a couple of seconds to make this happen.
You should then be able to remove the version that was previously active by using the trashcan icon.
Close the Versions popup and you will then be free to attempt a new update on the presentation.
